Online 21 Rule

The target of any blackjack player according to 21 Rule is to come up with a higher total than the dealer’s total not going over 21. In all the Blackjack game versions, the values of the cards are alike: all the 2-10 cards are valued as indicated, all the face cards (Jacks, Queens, Kings) are valued of 10 points, and the Ace can have the value as either 1 or 11 depending what will make the player hand less likely to win. A hand that exceeds the value of 21 rule calles a Bust and loses automatically. In Blackjack, the gambler’s hand is simply against the the dealer’s one, which makes other gamblers’ hands of no importance.

The deal of cards

As soon as all the players have put their bets, the dealer deals the cards. A gamer receives 2 cards facing up and the croupier gives two cards 1 facing up and another down. As soon as all the gamblers have got the cards, the croupier goes from one gambler to the following so that each one of them can make his choice of the way he wants to gamble his/her hand.

The most common options in 21 Rule comprise such options as to Insure, Hit, and Double Down, and Split and Stand etc.

Surrender lets the gamer forfeit the hand and get back half of the original bet.

Hit option means asking for one more card.

Stand option means asking to be dealt no more cards.

Doubling Down is doubling the initial bet and asking for only one extra card.

Splitting in the 21 Rule is having splitting your hand in 2 separate hands and multiplying on 2 your wager. This option is provided just if the initial two cards given are of the same value.

Insuring is an option offered for the gamers in case the dealer facing up card is the Ace. The insurance bet in the 21 Rule pays off 2 to 1 and usually is valued as 0.5 of the first wager. If the dealer has a Blackjack (Natural), the gambler loses the first wager, but receives the insurance bet and the pay out back.

After all the gamblers have made up their mind, the croupier plays the hand. He reveals the facing down card (also called the hole card) and chooses whether to hit or ask for no more cards, as all the rest solutions are simply for players. The dealer chooses the options only conforming to the gambling hall regulations and rules, it is prohibited that he acts as he wants. All dealers must ask for more cards till the total value of the hand is higher or exactly 17. Sometimes the 21 Rule may differ depending on if the hand is soft or hard 17 (with or without an Ace), although the primarily 21 Rule covers all the 17s.

21 Rule: Natural and Blackjack

The hand value 21 in the first 2 cards (a ten-valued card and the Ace) is known as a Blackjack or a Natural. This is the winning hand and pays off 3 to 2 unless the dealer hand combination is also a Natural, which means the hands Push (the bets are returned in full). It is worth mentioning that if player’s first two cards are 2 Aces and the player has decided to split, and 1 of player next cards was ten-valued card, such hand is not thought as a Blackjack or a Natural, but simply a hand with a total value of 21.
